1923 Lincoln DD ??

It looks like the date is doubled , but since it is an old beat-up coin it will probably be hard to tell. I could use some other eyes and feedback. What I am seeing in hand is the number 2 in the date appears to be struck over another 2 but the other 2 seems to be a different font.
What do you think ?

The two looks like it could possibly have some doubling. I do think it is mainly die deterioration, can you post a picture of the whole coin?

Sorry, It's just circulation damage. The 1 and the 3 are also damaged.
