That's a nice example of an improperly-mixed Liclon Cent @Evan Saltis. Regardless, it still doesn't compare to this in terms of eye appeal (even with my crappy photography skills).
Raw? That would be nice but ICG and ANACS coins aren't too bad. This was just the one I liked the most. Very nice Your pictures are nice! I am still looking for my macro lens, I think a family member 'borrowed' it. Fantastic gold. How many do you have? just curious. I don't want a 2.50 I think. I might just save to get a 5 dollar.
This was my third gold coin but only my first, pre-33 gold. In addition to this, I also have two proof 1/4oz Gold Eagles locked away in my safe deposit box in Georgia. This is a very recent acquisition on my part, as I bought it at a local coin show this past Friday, along with one of the most extensively pieces of paper money you'll ever see.
I prefer the eye appeal of his fully lustrous and truly Uncirculated (no trace of wear) Lincoln cent "Woodie" to a slider gold piece (rub down the thigh) in a MS slab. But, that's just me. If we leave out eye appeal, I'll take yours all day long!
Thanks insider. This certainly is pretty and had it been PCGS I would have paid more. Into my growing box of slabs it goes! Thank you very much
