1922 peace dollar, grading anyone?

    I was doing some cherrypicking and saw this and I know that (MS+) is worth $110 on auction, so is this worth paying $25 for?

    You need to provide better pics of both sides of the coin for any real help. I think you are talking about a very high MS grade, like 66/67 to be worth over $100 though. From the pic you provided, I would say that $25 is retail for this one. IMHO.

    The coin is likely worth closer to $25 than to anything close to $110. The pics are not very helpful, but it does look like it's seen some circulation.

    A 1922 Peace Dollar is one of the most common silver dollars, and are readily available in uncirculated condition. I don't think that, beyond the silver melt value, these are worth purchasing as coins. If you're buying it as silver, you may do better with other coins at that price.
