Well, I know the first question that will be asked, Can you send a picture? I don't think I can get one close enough to show the doubling in the Olive branches in the eagle's claws on the rev of the coin. SO my question to you all is, does this varity exist? is there a VAM for it? and what would a BU example be worth if in fact it was a true double die? I bought one on a whim years ago and I am looking to sell it now but I don't want to misrepresent the coin when I do so , Thanks!!!

My suggestion to you is to send it off to NGC for Vam attribution and grading. If it is one of the Top 100 or Hot 50, depending on grade you might have a coin worth some value. Having said that, all Morgans and Peace dollars are Vams. Vams are the identified die pairs used to make your coin. Vams are named after Van Allen and Mallis.
Not all dies pairs have value.
Unless your coin is properly attributed, you may be selling your self short as to its value.
