Strong Reverse (No D), Die Pair 2. Die Pairs 1 and 3 are the Weak Reverse/Weak D dies. Note that on your coin the second 2 is stronger than the first 2. On the Weak D die pairs, the second 2 is weaker than the first 2. Also the first T in TRUST is stronger than the other letters on your coin, characteristic of the No D (Die Pair 2/Strong Reverse) dies.

I would call it about VG10 with the scratches on the obverse, still worth several hundred dollars (retail), say $700.

    Best Regards, :)

I would tend to go with VG8 and I would not think the scratches would count on that grade. $550 - $650.

Is that rim damage between 4 and 5 pm on the obverse? Or is it the gasket around the coin?
