Here is a pic that shows the differences in the edge reeding on 1921 Morgan dollars. The ones with wide reeding carry a bit of a premium over the ones with normal reeding. They are fun to look for, and easy to spot. I have cherrypicked 2 from dealers. I also bought a Prooflike 1921 from a dealer, and when I took it out of the 2x2, I saw that it had wide reeding. The wide reeding variety is very scarce in PL and DMPL. So next time you're looking through Morgans, make sure you check the 1921's for wide reeding.:thumb: Charlie
Charlie32, thanks for the tip! Is this on all mint marks from 1921? My next coin purchase is going to be a VAM book. My 1878-CC looks like the CC is ALMOST touching the wreath. After that, I've been hungry for a 1921 Peace dollar. :thumb:
