Hi everyone i have this very nice silver Morgan that was givin to me, It is sweet looking. How would you grade scan0005.jpg this, and Value. Since im new, who would be the best to send this coin in for grading and slabing, Anacs or someone else. I now about NGC but not a memeber yet of them. I have never sent a coin in befor to be graded. Thank you Frank scan0004.jpg

You have a nice specimen, but it really isn't worth submitting for grading. It would have to grade MS65 or better to be worthwhile.

62, possible 63, but not worth submitting.

Looks like it has quite a bit of bags marks...I would probably call it MS61 or 62. That said, the luster appears to be missing in the photos. It looks like a scanned image which could cause the luster to not get picked up by the computer. My grades assume there is luster. If it is lacking luster, it has probably been over dipped and thus is damaged and ungradable.

A coin is only worth becides the silver content, what somebody is willing to pay for it, And this coin being I think the most produced morgan ever wouldnt bring much more then melt value which is around 36 bucks, So you can shoot for around 40 bucks if lucky.

They do carry a little premium if its truly uncirculated.

I think you shouldn't slab it

It's value is a bit higher than $40 if it is an UNC, even at 63 it can go about $50. I picked up a 21 before the price of silver went over $28 for $35, NGC slabbed, MS63. Now NGC values the coin at $46.80

Eh considering all the scratches on the obverse and the nicks on the rim i dont think it will even grade that, But better pics would defently be able to get you squared away on price.
