A couple of years my kids and I were looking thro old coins from mom. "fun" This 1921 coin has a 2 stamped on the lower jaw. At first I thought it was a hair coil, actually I believe it is a 2. the 2 is worn as the coin is. UMMMM am I seeing things? I have been reading threads for 2 hours. You all are very interesting!!!!! Well, I cannot really say I understood all I was reading, but I got up the nerve to send this :) I tried to scan the coin, but the 2 doesn't show. Any test I can do? I thought it might be a scratch, but has the same curvature as the dated 2. I am going to feel very foolish if all these have a 2. I think I added the scan (questionable) . I hope I can find this again.......... grdmama

I added a scan. Thanks for your input. I really didn't expect a return. Thanks, grdmama

Well, I can tell you that if there is a 2 there I cant see it in the scan, I tried to save the pic and change it around using Photoshop. Is there anyway that you can scan at a higher res? On a typical Morgan there should be nothing to where the arrow is pointing but cheek. (only one T in but) Probably post mint damage.
