What you grade and pay for this one, raw:

This will be my first purchase of "key" date walker. I don't want to make a mistake!

    I haven't gone out on a limb for a while so I'll say VG10. $100-$125.

Well I put a $72 bid on it. Didn't win.

Nice coin!!! I like it as a VG-10 as well but I have seen some F-12 coins that look exactly like this. Sometimes key coins get market graded up a point or two just because of what the coin is. It isn't right but it does happen. Look at some early flowing hair coinage and you will see what I mean.

Yeah I really don't like to purchase any raw coin on ebay for $100+. So I thought I would take the chance at $72. I would probably be better off trying to find one at a show that I can actually see in person, ya know?

That coin is a nice coin, well worth the gamble IMHO. Nice original surfaces!
