I bought this on eBay because it looked like a chunk on the base of the 2. Thought it might be a large chip in the die and possibly a new VAM. listing The obverse has major problems. Don't know if it's splattered with solder, result of a rusted/pitted die, or if it just got tortured. Do not click unless you have already eaten. pic1 pic2
Boy, that is one pretty ugly coin IMO. For your sake, I hope you did find something special about it.
It's got purrrrty green stuff on it Looks almost like somebody tried to clean the verdigris with chisel.
