    Hey!

I was wondering what you think that this would grade as. I doubt that I'll ever send it in for a proper grading, I'm just curious for a informed opinion. It's certainly AU, but any further numerical assessment is outside of my realm. Grading is a fickle matter to me. Many thanks all!

assigning a number to this would require pictures that show luster (or lack thereof) and these look like scans ... i hope the surfaces aren't that dead-looking ;)

Ahhhh... Thanks so much. I'll snap off a few and try to pull some luster if I can (barring its existence of course). Will try to post later this evening or tomorrow.

Yes, the light is very unflattering to the surfaces of the coin. I'd say based on those photos, it would be AU, but let's see with better pictures. No luster apparent in those pictures, and the surfaces look washed out.

Okay... Photos attached. For some reason that was a lot more difficult then I expected. Taking closeups is difficult. Hope that this helps.

The reverse looks much better than the obverse, almost AU/BU for the back and low AU for the front. I guess that'd be an AU-53/55 average?
