It looks like 41B and lets here some thoughts . Here;s the link to vam world http://www.vamworld.com/1921-P+VAM-41B
Easily, to my mind. Even if it's only AU (and I'm getting the impression of significant luster from your images; I might call it Mint State in hand).
I have a system I use, not much different then the hand gun laws . 24 hour cool down stage, before I can buy it ...
Yes, go buy it right now for $39. You can keep a score or flip it for a nice little profit at that price... What's this 24hr thing?
I wouldn't buy it as a "flipper;" they're surprisingly common for such a notably defective die and supply/demand is such that the really liquid ones are in Mint State slabs. I've had them up to MS64. What it_is, is the first 1921 which will popularize the moment demand reaches that level. I like it at $39 but only with its' significance and the long term in mind.
Ok, I pulled the trigger . http://www.ebay.com/itm/281973274016?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT I don't think the seller knows how to grade ...
I was just going off of properly identified raw pieces sold on ebay in mid au to low ms. They do seem to carry a relatively decent premium. Rick, how long did it take you to come to 41b from those pics?
Gotta love a 21 you can vam in under 5 minutes. That's why I'm really starting to dig cracked up ones. It's fun as hell and just feels abnormally wrong but in a good way to vam a coin, and quickly, from die cracks alone. It's a trip. I just picked up an infrequent reeding one for spot basically
Nope unfortunately. I haven't had much experience with the infrequents but I knew enough to check the talon. I haven't had time to sit down with it yet but it's at about xf40 and some have pups that won't show in lower grades if I'm not mistaken so it may be a challenge.
I don't know which one I like more looking for errors . Ikes or Morgan ... Hell, I love them both ....
