1920s wheat penny S/S rpm

    From those images I am not seeing a re-punch to the North, and the listed RPM on Vista appears to be little further right than your example

    What else could cause a ghost image just to the top right of the mint mark if it's not a rpm
    Let me see if I can get some better photos

    The listed one is not just a bit on the top right.
    This from VV clearly shows a fattening of the device across it's whole upper portion.

    And a ghostly image can be produced by a deteriorating die
