Thanks for the info and the welcome :)

So I have a lot of coins that I would like rough estimates on, can anyone recommend a few good sites so I can take care of the bulk of them without bothering everyone here? All the sites google pulls up for me seem to be people selling the coin I'm looking up, I was more looking for a catalog of prices for various grades of US and World coins.

You wouldn't believe the effort, time, and cost that'd involve if someone did that, not to mention possibly buying rights and other stuff...

I assume theres some sort of catalog of coins on the web somewhere? Certainly each would specialize in one country or timeframe but that would be helpful too.

    Welcome to the forum sledneck.
The basic reference for world coins is the four volume Manhattan telephone book-size Standard Catalog of World Coins, commonly referred to as "Krause".

The bad news is that Krause has no on-line catalog, and if someone else has created one, none of the regulars on this forum, or any of the others I read, has found it.

The good news is that most public libraries either have it, or can get it on interlibrary loan.

The other bad news is that Krause values are all over the place - some high, some low, and some on the market. Of course, that's true of any price guide you might consult.

BTW that's a nice French Marianne you picked up at a reasonable price. :)

Realized sale prices are the single best source for determining value that there is. I would recommend checking ebay to find examples of coins that match yours in condition, date & mint mark to help you establish value.
