1919 S 1c wheat weak strike or just worn down?

    Morning & Merry Christmas,

    How can a person tell the difference between a weak strike/strike through or just 121 years of circulation wear? I put this 1919S 1c away before internet and just pulled it from storage container.

    It’s just worn, but is wholesome enough for a low-grade example. Doesn’t seem to have any major problems. That’s what is often referred to as “honest wear” in the hobby.

    PS- those last two digits in the date do look like they could have been a bit more softly struck than the others, though not enough to be anything out of the ordinary.
