Yes, the bottom rim but not rim to rim. Looking close it seems like there is another across from States going through the Wheat to the rim. But, it is hard to tell as it looks like the cent took a hit there at one time.
I love the look of that coin. Something about the age and wear that appeals to me. Is that a cud on the reverse at around 3 O'clock?
@Mountain Man @Collecting Nut Yes I was surprised since I never looked close at it in probably 50 years. And, what could be a cud looks more like a hit. See the attached close up.
As I get in to these I am convinced that I would rather have coins of this character representing my attendance to the hobby than a box full of MS** in slabs. All found in circulation. Here are two more: 1920 and 1920 S.
Being copper, soft metal, I agree with it took a rim hit. Over the years, wear has caused this look. I think it's a great piece especially with the 2 die cracks. Hope you find more as you search.
