1919 1c Lincoln alloy mix error

    Howdy,
    Came across this and a bit confused as to reason why if this is an alloy mix variety why obverse is horizontal in pattern and reverse is vertical? Also is line across Lincoln's face a lamination?

    Improperly mixed alloy with some laminations.
    Thats not a variety but a planchet mint error.
