1918 SLQ - Condition?

    What would you consider to be the condition of this standing liberty quarter? Thanks for any input!

    I'm going to guess that it's in very fine condition.
    It's impossible to say for sure, based on a scan, because the surfaces aren't clear.
    Don't know if it's been cleaned or mistreated.

    I was going to say VG/F.....I can't tell if its been cleaned.....

    Thanks for the replies! As I've mentioned before, most of my coins are derived from metal detecting. This one I found in early November at an old park and, obviously, the loose soil had to be removed. The coin does look to be in great shape and does not have any scratches. It is one of the best SLQ's of that variety that I've pulled from the ground.

    Very nice coin for a metal detecting find. I would say the grade is fine.
