HELLO I HAVE A 1918 RED WHEAT PENNY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO MINT MARK? DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT. A GUY TOLD ME ITS WORTH 300 OR MORE CUZ THE RED TINT
Your coin picture is crap. How do you expect anyone to give you any real info on your coin if your pictures of said coin are crap?
Photos need to be crisp and clear. Phone photos usually don't come out very well. Off hand that cent isn't worth a dollar. But will need better photos.
OKay I am sorry my cam is mess up and the light is not good ni am sorry okay but no mean to be rude. i'll post better
Closer. Take it out of the flip and take pictures of the obverse and reverse. Try to make them look like this:
There are folks out there that pay top dollar for immaculate well struck cents. I’m not one of them, but I’ll say this. 1918 was a very common year. There were almost 300 million of these made. One of the highest early minted cents. Only way this could remotely be worth more than five bucks or so is if you go to the trouble of having the coin professionally graded. That will cost you maybe fifty dollars. And unless it comes back near perfect, and very very few do.... I can’t see that you will come out ahead.
Need to see both sides. Photo in #9 is not the worst, but it's difficult when it is inside the 2x2 flip. A 1918 in AU could be around $8. If your coin is truly MS Red $30 or more.
It looks XF just from the dirt around the devices and the wear. It is NOWHERE close to mint state or red or BU or shiny or anything else defining uncirculated. If it shines like this baby, then it is uncirculated.
I HAVE SO MANY COINS . I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT COINS I AM NEW TO THIS U KNOW BUT I KNOW I HAVE RARE PENNYS
