1918 Philippines 5 centavo mule with 20 centavo reverse

    This was an exciting and unexpected find among a group of coins and I wanted to share my excitement.

    When these coins were minted (in San Francisco), the reverse die for the 20 centavo coin was used for some of the 5 centavo coins, which are about the same size. This was noticed quickly, but a bunch of them made their way into circulation. Vast majority are found well worn and/or corroded. From what I have read, these are quite rare in grades above XF.

    Thoughts?
