1918 and 1919 pennies.

    There also seems to be cracks at the back of Lincoln’s head and at his neck (2).

    And what is causing the first 9 in the 1919 penny? Looks like it has a curly cue at the top of the numeral.

    IMO it looks like the 9 took a hit. Copper is a soft metal and it appears the hit pushed the copper up. It's also possible that I'm wrong and there was a small die chip near the 9. Wait for the error experts to give their opinions.

    IMO, that could be a die crack on the left of the 1918, but not a cud. Is that mark into the metal or raised above the metal? It's hard to tell from the photo.
    On the 1919, that is not a cud or die chip. It is simply damage from a hit.
    If you look closely, you can see "travel" marks where, whatever hit it, went from right to left.
    Mozz's first explanation above is the correct one.

    BTW, I am not an expert. I've simply paid attention and learned from the many members of Coin Talk !! who are experts.
