99% of my collection is non-US world coins, but I've always been fond of the Standing Liberty quarter series. I've been meaning to upgrade my Type 1 example for a while.
Here's my 1917 from long ago:

And here's my recent 1917S purchase:

I'm happy with the upgrade, and it fell (barely) within my target price range. Dealer had it listed as F12 grade. Any opinions of grade and approximate fair retail price would be much appreciated, as US coins are far outside my area of knowledge. Thanks!

You did good and I would agree with F-12.

    GOOD JOB!
What are those black spots on the Reverse though?

Don't know, I'm guessing uneven oxidation spots.
