I just picked this up... any thoughts to value? It's a STAR and I don't see a STAR value in the RED book for this issue.

    Series of 1917
    One Dollar in VG-F condition.

    Attached is a photo...

Thats being a bad consumer if you buy something and you dont know what its value is.
On the other note (no pun intended), I have no clue on value.

How many other bidders were there?

According to their feedback, how many regularly buy currency?

In my own specialty, when I see several familiar names bidding on a piece, it almost always finishes at a price that I consider to be within a reasonable range.

I know what it's worth to me. I'm looking for others thoughts... if you don't have a thought than why reply to my post?

The Whitman guidebook of US currency say's "Star replacement notes for series 1917 are valued approximatly double these prices"
$65.00 in fine grade except the Burke-Elliott which goes for $150.00 in fine.
so double the value depending on the condition and signatures

If it grades FINE and I should double then I'm looking at 300.00. If that is the case then I got a great deal.
