Not sure what your question is. What do we think of the coin? You've already posted the grade. What do we think of the price? If you have to ask, you shouldn't have bought it.
I like the coin and thought I share it. So if you don't then that is alright with me. I just like what everyone think of it. Like it or not is fine as well.
In that case: it appears like a nice coin based on the low quality pictures. It is probably going to be blast white in hand, not golden toned. The white balance is off in the pictures.
You paid around Numismedia wholesale so not a bad price at all . I know I won my '17 PCGS MS-65 FH for $920 about 3 years ago , and I'm still happy with mine . So you did fine .
Yeah I know. I use to have one of those payment but got rid of it. So got some extra cash to get back to collecting.
Nice fully struck coin. In the photo there appear to be thumb prints on the reverse at the top and middle. Are those on the coin or the holder or am I seeing things?
These can get much more expensive! If you can, post better pictures. The coin looks very nice from what I can see. If you are happy, I am happy for you!
I have to disagree with you about the white balance; if anything, these photos look to be slightly on the cool side. I'd say this coin does have a slight golden tone in hand, which I don't necessarily say adds to its appeal. It may or may not be an attractive golden tone. Nice coin overall, OP. The fingerprint on rev. is a little bothersome.
I look a lot for this coin and I saw several and they wanted more. I also like the earlier dates and I put in my best price for it. There were a lot of white brilliant but again the price was right. I am pretty happy with it. Thanks all for your comments. I also picked up a 1892 O Morgan in MS 64 and will get a pic for it later. Graded by PCGS but I don't really agree with the grade. Looks much lower but I get it scan once I get it out of the box. I'll let you all be the judge.
