The 1917 Germany (Saxony) Friederich The Wise 3 Mark celebrating the Jubilee of Reformation is the key modern German coin. Lightly impaired examples can easily sell for $60K+. Mintage was only 100 pieces and they very rarely come up for sale.

There are numerous type restrikes and fantasy pieces of these. According to one story, these klippe restrikes were done in East Germany after an original obverse die was found. Given the number of uniface examples, and the fact that two sided examples started appearing much later and with obvious different dies, it seems plausibly true.
