1916d ?

    Do you guys see a D here, or is it my imagination? :help!A:

    I see no D. The D is usually fairly protected by the high devices of the branch and whatnot, so it would almost never get worn smooth unless it's in FR1 or low, low AG2.

    No "D" as far as I can see.

    On 1916-D's, even with the rim completely gone, the very top of the "D" mint mark can still be identified as the Denver Mint coin. I see nothing on this one that resembles a mint mark. Sorry, keep looking and

    Thanks for looking guys, I appreciate the comments even though it's apparently my imagination, still doesn't hurt to ask. :)

    No "D". The "D" doesn't get worn down to where you absolutely can't see it at all, even on very worn ones. But I've always liked the 16-D's. It might be my next target.

    Well, I'm hangin' onto it anyway, I think it'll be a nice "almost" piece for my collection. :)

    Maybe thats the coin that the D fell off of back in the early 60's.. : )
