Here are some pics of a 1916 Buffalo I found in a roll of nickles in my dad's collection marked "1936". I was looking for a 3 1/2 legged D, but instead ran across this. Let me know what you think, thanks for looking and for any constructive comments.
Sorry ,the Liberty is just shelf doubling. The DD on this coin is on the date & is very easy to see .
What about the doubling on the feathers, mouth and chin? These are also identifying spots for markers, not saying this coin is, but it's very well worn around the date, which is why I made photos of the other marker spots. So all of the other doubling on this coin is strike doubling as well then? Again, not trying to push that this is or isn't, I'm just asking, thanks for the input.
