1915-s barber half Condition?

    I bought this a little bit ago. Any idea of condition I was thinking somewhere between 8-12.

    I agree with you. I would say VG-10 (not quite F-12) but cleaned.

    I would call it an F-12, the Liberty is all there but some letters are weak, meaning 3/4 of the B is there 3/4 of the E and 1/2 the R the other 4 letters are complete, the upper set of leaves is outlined but the lower half is nearly worn away. On the reverse, wing details are average but the shield is full with clear horizontal lines and the motto is complete and clear. The entire rim on both sides is bold with great dentils. If one more of the letters were complete I'd call it F-15, if they were all clear VF-20. Great coin, I like it.

    Based purely on the liberty I'd say 15, but overall, looks more like a 10 or 12.
