I remember the first time I laid eyes on this 1915, I thought it was a Matte Proof ! Much to my amazement it was a business strike and I felt, and still feel it's under graded. This one is toned cobalt blue with a touch of olive green with luster that will bowl you over, just BOOMING!! This coin is always a big hit with my collector friends, it's always a must see when the subject of coins comes up. The strike on this buff is better than you would expect to see with the assigned grade of MS-66, even from a tight group of graders from PCGS..... This 1915 has needle sharp details and boasts a full strike. The rims are broad, square and sharp just how I like em. Thanks for looking at my 1915 Buff and any and all comments are welcome....DEX
"1915 Buffalo Nickel. Kinda nice...." - coin dexter Yeah, kinda. If you're into premium quality, toned, stunning buffalo nickels, that make me jealous.
That's the second really beautiful coin that I've seen tonight. I agree with MS-66, but I wouldn't argue with MS-67 either.
You have such a significant dilemma on your hands. How can you set another buffalo next to this.....and think the second buff is a nice coin as well? WOW! What detail. Strike. Luster.
Thanks for all the nice complements. I love to image coins, I enjoy imaging almost as much as I do collecting. But let me tell ya, you don't come accross 1915's very often that looks this good. Thanks again....DEX
