Okay, now time for me to show it off. I rarely get the chance to be able to pick up a beauty like this, but I finally got a chance to! Please let me know what ya'll think! Yes it's been cleaned, but it has a great appearance and outstanding detail in my opinion.
That coin has a tremendous amount of luster despite the cleaning. Personally, I like it. I am sure the hairlines are most visible when the light comes in from a certain direction, and virtually invisible under other conditions. Collectors often have to make a decision between degree of wear and surface conditions like this one. The coin doesn't appear overly bright to me, and seems to have picked up some toning during storage. As long as you are happy with the way it looks and the price paid, Congrats!!
