What do you think the grade is and how much is it worth

The coin is VG but the pitting on the obverse bothers me and the reverse looks like it may have been cleaned. Numismedia wholesale for a VG8 1915 Barber Half is $115 but if your coin is a problem coin, I would expect it to be worth less than $100 in the $75 range.

I'd call that coin G6 to VG8 on its best day. Concur with the previously given value estimates, ie $80-110 range. It may have sustained an old cleaning, judging from some of the wipe marks I can see, but looks as if it is re-toning nicely.

It is one of the keys to the series with the second lowest mintage of all the business strikes, with a mintage of only 138,000.

    VG, cleaned.

    But scarce date
