I have a question about this coin, It is a Austria 10 heller does it look fake, pmd or a error? It is the coin I found on google but it has alot going on with the side that has the 10 on it but not sure what could have caused this kinda pitted look to it, it doesnt look like it has any type of corrosion. Maybe you guys could help cause I have no clue. Thanks in advance. 1915.jpg 19152.jpg 19153.jpg

Found in the ground and then cleaned is my guess.

ok, fair enough just thought i'd ask. I figured something like that but wanted to ask since it's pitted mostly on one side not the other it made me wonder if it wasnt a fake or a minting issue.

In spite of our suspected environmental damage, it remains a pretty coin, IMHO. Just think, it celebrated its 100th birthday last year.
