1914D - Harshly cleaned VG details. $150 is not horrible, but I wouldn't have bought it and, if I did, I'd be closer to $75 with an offer.

1925 - MS-63 (as best as I can tell from the pics), worth about $15-20.

I'd send the 1914D back. For what you paid, I would think you should be able to get one that has not been so "harshly" cleaned.

Thanks guys. The eBay pic he used a flash so it didn't look shinny. Oh we'll. back to searching for a 14-D

Side note: got my Verdi-Care today Thad, I'll post some pictures when I use it(got to get a proper towel). Thanks.

My preferred method is using a toothpick. I recommend spot treating or soaking first although I've seen the towel method work wonders on moderate verdigris. This picture was from my testing using the towel method. I couldn't believe my eyes and was glad I took pictures of this one.

I have a 1967 penny that was missed stamped. It is the whole penny that was stamped on edge and is now is a full penny with a half moon extended out with the date on one side and Lincolns partial face on the other side of the half moon. Have no idea what the value might be.

That is a $150 mistake, in my opinion.
