I bought this Fatman coin a long time ago, yes it has a scratch on it but that's okay it's still nice enough for me and it's genuine and that's a plus. Some of these Fatman coins cost over a thousand dollars, unfortunately I have no idea why or what to look for, anyone know the secrets to collecting these? Anyone have one here, feel free to post a pic! The Yuan Shih-kai silver dollar, or "Fatman Dollar" (袁大头), is a prominent Chinese coin minted largely between 1914 and 1921 to standardize currency, featuring a portrait of the Republic-era leader in military attire. Most commonly found as a 1914 Year 3 issue, these 26.8g, 0.890 fine silver coins are popular collectibles with various year, mint mark, and rare pattern variations.
