I don't see it either, but apparently 22 people do.

I dont see the tiniest bit of an overdate. I see nothing....................

There is a slight "perceived appearance" of the top of a "3" running horizontal across the tip area of the "4". The grade of the coin is actually not bad and an overdate should have a bolder appearance for the coin grade, so I wouldn't bid on that hope. I think that the bidders will go as high as they might for the coin as a "1914-D" example, and if it is really an overdate, Wow! a bigger win. ( And I think the seller feels the same ) IMO.

I seriously question the credibility of anybody on eBay who uses "L@@K" and "?!?!?!!"

However, I'm surprised it sold for that low. This just seemed like one of those eBay items that could have gotten crazy.

    I think the bidders probably just wanted the 14-D. There's a 14 (P) with a 4/3, but no 14-D with a 4/3 that I'm aware of.

I think you need a whole lot of imagination to see the overdate. :D

Based on the sellers feedback, a whole lot of wishful thinking would go into even bidding on that item, as in here would be my wish, hope you mail the item...
I wouldn't have bid on that based on feedback alone.

Agreed. Based on his FB, I would not deal with that person under any circumstances.

With a seller's name of mrwonderfulcoins how could anything go wrong? :)

According to Red Book, Philadelphia over struck 1914 buffaloes over 1913, not Denver.

I see why the seller's feedback score is 97.6%

Yep... thirteen negs in the past six months, mostly for shipping issues and buyers dissatisfied with his "unsearched" rolls. If you check his other auctions, every picture for the buffalo rolls is identical. Still, it seems strange that a buyer would post a neg for an "unsearched" roll just because it contained mostly "no date" coins. How's the seller to know? He hasn't looked through them, lol.

You need a lot of imagination to see it on any of the 14/3 overdate buffalos. Typically the only thing that shows is a little "nub" at the top of the 4.

Either one of the master dies or a working hub was overdated resulting in multiple overdated dies (Dozens if it was a working hub, hundreds if it was a master die) and they didn't stay in one place. 1914/3 overdates are known from Philadelphia and San Francisco. I don't know of any from Denver but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
