I bought these as a pair from the same dealer.
Just a guess the grade, if you have the variety, they are specified. IMG_3093.JPG IMG_3092.JPG IMG_3094.JPG IMG_3095.JPG
The slabs are relatively clean. a few ticks like the one on the buffaloes side.

The old Anacs slabs have them as Var, instead of type.

Forgot to add- im really digging that 1st coin!
Ive been procrastinating on getting a high grade type 1 buff. That coin would fit the bill 4 me, and i can see why u jumped on it.

The old (and current) ANACS holders are correct-they ARE varieties, not types. A type is an entirely new design whereas a variety is a modification of the same design.

Var 1-MS64 var 2 MS62 is my guess.

I disagree - a type is attributed to an intentional modification to a coin's design. Such as redesigning the mound on the Buffalo Nickel. Varieties are unintentional variations.

I'm thinking coin #1 is a 65 however most probably a 64 on slab. Coin #2 xf 40. Two very nice specimens

This one is a 64...but I think it should have gotten a bit higher grade. Best part Is I bought it for twenty five bucks. magnifier_20170116_091122.png magnifier_20170116_090929.png
