1912 S Barber Half Dollar

    Hi! I am curious about value and grade on this 1912-S Barber Half Dollar.

    I have a very similar 1915-S as well.

    Take a look at the pics below and let me know what you think, please!

    Fine Details Scrathed veryy close to VF details

    Normally, I'd say F-VF, but I'm going just with "Fine," due to the weak Liberty, the bottom of the ribbon containing Liberty is worn away, the scratches across the neck, the wear on the tips of the eagle's wings, and the black coloration. It's an attractive Fine, IMO.

    I'd say it is VF-20 details. The scratch on the obverse would probably hold it back from grading.

    As far as value goes, it may fetch a $100 bill.

    Whereas I'd say a $50 bill, $60 tops.

    Looks a lot like a grader maybe.:)
