Today I was at a bank putting in a bunch of coins from roll searching into the coin machine. Next to the machine is a piece of bank furniture with a trashcan inside. There is a swinging flap labeled "trash" for customers to use. Inside this swinging flap is an inch wide lip. Every time I dump coins there, I check that lip. Normally, I find foreign coins, probably 30 in all in the last 6 months.

Today, there were 6 cents hanging on to that lip (before it falls down into the trashcan behind the locked cabinet). I carefully pulled them out and one of them was a 1912 (p)! It was probably only in G-4 shape, but still, it was VERY cool to find......it made my day. I love that little lip.....:)

Anyone find anything better in the trash? lol
