1912 Barber Half

    1912 Barber Half. It is ( I guess Fine shape ). My pic. are not that good. Let me know what you guys think. What grade would you say? What kind of value? Thanks for looking.

    It is a 1912-D, not 1912 (but that makes no difference as far as value).

    It is worth somewhere between melt (about $12.90 today) and $20 or so.

    Agreed! I also am not so sure it is Fine, but more like vg-8. But I am cycnical these days.

    I think I'd go VG10 on this coin.

    Let me ask a crazy ? here. Please dont laugh at the new guy. LOL. But how high does this scale go??? VG 10 and then fine or what? is there a good site were i can find this info?

    Cull would be 0, Poor would be 1, fair would be 2, about good would be 3, good would be 4, then up... Took me some time to get it all down, but yeah, you can either use photograde to get an idea of what your coins would grade assuming they don't have any issues, or you could google the sheldon scale to get a more detailed explanation.
