1911 Wheat Penny

    Found this in a roll. It is significantly thinner than a regular Penny. It weighs 2.9 grams whereas a regular one weighs 3.1 grams. Comments please

    worn thin. nice find though! 107 years in circulation would wear anybody thin.

    There is a weight tolerance of +/- .13 grams. 2.98-3.24
    While 2.9 sounds a little light, this coin is very circulated, worn and weighs less.

    As stated a nice fine but it has been around for over 100 years so I would say being a little thin would be normal. Lol
