Hi, a newbie here, have a 1911 Wheat with V B stamped on the back side. Anyone know what V B might refer to?

Very likely someone used it ( many many years ago) to test the alignment of the punch to be used in his job or class. The cent is relatively soft, and usually readily available. Of course they never realize that some one is going to find it a 100 yrs later and wonder over it. Or someone was trying to pass it on as a rarity made by Victor himself.
