    Hello,
I found this 1909 VDB, and the VDB appears to be doubled as well as the wheat stalk on the right side. Here are some pic's.

I think I am going blind - even with those arrows - I can't see what you are pointing out.

    Welcome to the forum:thumb:

Hate to say it, but it appears as just a loaded roll used to rip Ebayers......

    Nothing special on the VDB

If your the buyer, I hope you get your money's worth, if your the seller, shame on you.

I see what you are talking about, but I'm not sure whether or not it is a doubled die or if they punched the vdb separately like mintmarks, but the wheat does look doubled to me and that is part of the design for sure.

EDIT: Missed AJ's post. My bad.

It looks like the damage the roll machine would leave.

I am not sure that there is Doubled Die doubling on the Reverse of the coin but there appears to be at least another VDB above and slightly off-set to the right of the normal VDB on this coin! I have no idea of the cause but there could be quite a few explanations other than Doubled Die doubling. I agree that this is another loaded Shotgun roll to sucker folks into bidding much higher! There are hundreds of these on eBay every week.

I edited and cropped one picture and have included it below. To me, the extra VDB although weak, is visible.

I agree with Frank, I see something but I can't tell what it is. It looks , as he says like a VDB above and to the right of the primary VDB.

Could be the camera, the lighting or the coin. You cant tell from the picture.
