question for a wheat proof aficionado, does this look like a proof coin? I don't have the eyes or experience. thanks.
The dot between the D and B appears to be closer to the D. The proof has the dot centered between the two letters. The rims are also rounded. The proof rims are sharp and square inside and out. Plus the main diagnostics, the die scratches in front of the nose and die chip to the right of UNUM, aren’t visible.
these are the sellers photos and if I try to enlarge them they get grainy. I do have confidence in the auction house where its listed but the bid is higher than I'm willing to go. Thanks anyway.
