I'm selling portions of my US Coin Collection. I'm about to start listing the Lincoln Cents on eBay. I know there are some CoinTalkers who are interested in and collect "Woodies" ie Lincoln Cents that display the wood-graining effect that occurs on some Lincoln Cents when the alloys are mixed improperly. See the below threads. http://www.cointalk.com/threads/got-wood.65353/ http://www.cointalk.com/threads/freshly-cut-wood.121897/ http://www.cointalk.com/threads/got-wood-i-picked-this-up-today.86655/ I've got the key to the series, a 1909 S VDB Lincoln that displays some wood-graining effect which I plan to list on eBay. I figure an S VDB woody's got to be relatively rare. So I thought I'd give any interested Coin-Talkers first crack at it. It's in an old ANACS VF-20 slab. The wood-graining effect is not super evident on the obverse, but it's definitely there visible in the fields behind the date/mm, and it's very visible on the reverse. Attached below are photos. PM me if you're interested.
