My first one of these. Just arived from an Ebay purchase. Appears genuine to me from all the data and pics I have seen. Coin grades a strong full wheat fine. Paid $140 to my door. Group opinion? THANKS
Just a bright picture with too much light. Blowing it up 400% just makes a poor pic worse. Need more pixels / better camera I guess. I think it looks good to all the guides I have...I'll send it along with a bunch of other semi key Lincolns to ICG in the next week or so, I took them up on the buy 5, get 5 free deal, plus they'll do my 14-D for free ala special in Coin World.
Getting a little care free with the language arent we. You do know there are young people in here that dont need to see that.
Take a closer look at the pic in the Cherrypicker's Guide. In this pic the underlying letter resembles a backwards J and you can see the leg of the J below the top. In the guide, there is no leg visible at all. Yeah, it's close, but not quite there. Also if you look closely at AJ's pic you can see depressions around the S and that coupled with the underlying letter makes me suspicious. Been wrong before - could be again.
OVERREACTING!!!??? Is that what you call it when someone includes inappropriate language in their post and another member disapproves of it. Did you read the original post? No? I didnt think so. There are young people in this forum that dont need that kind of exposure, especially my 14 yr. old daughter. Perhaps you (roto) and Frank arent church going people. Maybe you're ok with that in your home, but I'm not ok with it in here where theres youngsters. Did you use foul language in front of your children when you were raising them? Dont criticize me because I think its appropriate.
okay, I take it back, so you think that it is appropriate to use that language? Sorry, I misunderstood you.
I obviously missed the original post. I did not see it had been edited. I withdraw my opinion of overreaction, due to not having the original material to form an opinion with. I thought the outrage was due to the use of "damnit". "damnit" would be a derivitive of damnation, which I have heard in church. So, I've been to church, I have no children, I use foul language when I hurt myself or in traffic, and I make mistakes.
oh wow I didn't even notice I caused a commotion on this thread. Sorry I'm a young guy and I usually type how I talk .
