Something about high value raw copper always scares me. I'm only seeing it on my tablet, and can't really tell, but I bet dollars to doughnuts there's a reason it's not in a slab.

I cannot tell for sure from your pictures, but if I had to guess, I would say MS cleaned.

Color looks off and I'm having a hard time detecting luster. I think it's a details coin.

It reminds me of a Matte proof coin, but none are listed, except for the 1909's, they had satin or matte finishes on the proofs.

Could just be the photos but the surfaces look strange to me.

it just the photos, the obverse has a baby blue color, and the reverse has a lite purple color, that why it looks cleaned, or detailed, even the stand the coin sits on is two different colors

What do you think now that we have slightly better pictures? Obviously not MS

Just contacted the seller to see how he got the color to appear to be the RED that showed up in the pictures in his listing. Trying to figure out if it's even the same coin.....

The color in hand and the color in the pictures is SOOOOO far off, it's unreal.

It's not worth AU money, either, with the cuts along the coat.

ok, it is the same coin, after blowing up the picture and looping the coin, I see that they are the same but, man... the color

    Don't get it!

I would go AU on it, but the difference between AU and XF money is moot. But talk about doctored pictures .............
