Well, it's pretty obvious that the Tpgs don't like these wood grain Lincoln's? Because, In hand this one I think should grab a 65. It is unbelievably lustrous. I took my kid to the river to drift a crawler. Gonna have to post the grade in the morning. He did catch the biggest. The rainbows that they stock, are some tough little fish. We, fish with Ultra light rods, and feather light reels. Usually four pound test. When the water goes down, we catch 14" and 16" trout out of this creek. It's a good time.
Nice coin! I was going to say it looked like a 64 RB that NGC put in a 62 RB holder. I guess I should have just taken the average in order to get the correct grade.
This is why I wont send any woodies in for grading. The couple I have that are in slabs are also undergraded. Yours is very nice! Im going to the show tomorrow. Cant wait to see some coins that are way out of my league.
Im generally not a big fan of woodies, but I really like the look of this one. Nice piece. In case you were wondering, the true grade is MS-57. It was derived with my magic grading formula.
