    IMO with all that damage (or is it a cast coin) the question is moot.
    I consider it uncollectible.

    what sadistic idiot thought it would be funny to make that word, then add that meaning???
    Its like the word lisp....

    If you ever find an actual 1909-S IHC in that condition, don't spend it. I'll gladly give you at least $5 for it. :)

    Disclaimer: I am not making an actual (and against-the-rules) offer for a coin here. :)

    My point, though, is that key dates have a wide audience even when they're badly impaired. There are certainly collectors who would turn up their nose at an impaired coin, but there are a lot of us who wouldn't.
