1909 Double L Cent Neat

    I found this looking through a few cwnts I just purchased. It is a nice example of the double L. I hope the pictures show it well.

    Wasn't the last of the Indian cents made in 1908 and the wheat pennies took over in 1909?

    Wheats and IHC were both made in 1909....

    Could this be longacre doubling??

    Hello,
    Its in the Cherry pickers as a Breen #1 N/L; Snow-1. It does not add much value to the coin but its pretty neat.

    Speedy-

    Longacre doubling is characterized by a shelf like doubled image with rounded edges which exists around the entire letter. This is not longacre doubling. See the link below.
