What is a decent price to buy a 1909 cent and a 1909 V.D.B. cent in AU-50 or MS-60 condition. I already looked in Red Book but I tend to want to steer aways from wanting to use it as a price guide. Also what is a fair price to buy a 1996-W Roosevelt dime? I know what's on EBAY...but please tell me that's not the price I pay at the dealer. :D Any info. would be helpful-oh yeah-I'd like the dime the same grade as the wheaties.

Rather often, you can find the coins on ebay for LESS than you would pay at the dealer's. Not always, but often.

A 1909 should be able to get one for $9 in AU and $13.50 in MS60. The 1909 V.D.B. would be $5.75 in AU and $9.50 in MS60. The V.D.B. coin was saved in high grades more than the plain ones were that is why the are worth more. As for the 1996 W dime they were avaliable in the mint sets only and it should be about $25 in MS65. Last year at a local show I paid $10 each for two that were in AU condition.
